PRESS RELEASE: Governor Hochul Highlights Significant Progress in Revitalizing New York State’s Roads and Bridges in 2023

The “Infrastructure Hub” is a new website showing the major investments underway to improve the State’s roads, bridges, tunnels, public transportation, water quality, clean energy systems, and broadband internet access. Infrastructure.NY.gov features an interactive map highlighting key infrastructure projects underway that are funded by the State, as well as federal investments.

The State’s investment in infrastructure is supported by federal funding available through President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS and Science Act. The website also allows users to search technical assistance programs and currently open federal grant opportunities, and connects users to program resources and the latest infrastructure news.

These transformative investments not only address critical infrastructure improvements but also promote equity and connectivity, combat climate change, and create well-paying jobs in communities across New York State.
